Julia Robin Rutherford-fashion Design portfolio
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan with a BFA in Fashion Design/ Intimate Apparel and a minor in Art History. A participant in the first year Florence program held at Polimoda in Florence, Italy.
Commissions and Special Occasion
With the launch of my business I have found a particular interest in doing custom specials occasion pieces. Working side by side with the customers to create something unique for them and of course fitted to their exact measurements. This has also sprouted a Bridal collection designed and sewn by myself, as a result of my interest in such custom pieces.
Interest in the industry
While having learned more then anticipated with my small business and from studying fashion design at FIT, I feel there is still more to be understood. Studying under or side by side a professional in the industry is an asperation of mine. There is so much to be learned in this ever changing industry.
