The Commission Process

The custom journey starts with an inquiry. You can contact me directly through my website or through my instagram Direct Message. I tend to answer DM's faster than email.

After a brief discussion on what you are looking for and if I can offer you this within your budget, a deposit will be collected to start the process. This Deposit goes towards the final cost of the dress. After the deposit is sent we can begin the design process which includes sketches, swatches, and final price discussion. A payment plan for the dress will be set up and the dress does need to be paid in full before the ship out date.

Please note the timeline for all customs is 8 months but can be done sooner as a rush order.

How to get started?

Before the deposit, contact me with a commission request. In the request please let me know the date of your wedding (can be an estimate), budget, and any mood board or images that represent what you are looking for design wise. This bit of information will help me decide if you are a good fit for a Julia Robin Rutherford bridal custom!
